…a very, very busy valuation day today at Studley Castle – but this oil on canvas caught my eye…. 🎨 A little worse for wear, yes, but early 18th century and absolutely fascinating. Pieces like this carry such history and, with the right attention, could do really well at auction. That’s the joy of these events – you never know what might walk through the door!
