I sobbed until my heart no longer felt the hurt when we found out this chapel wouldn’t be ours after all. Matt wanted to fix it but there was nothing that could be done. Later, we ran into the owner at an outdoor art festival nearby. Looking back, I understand that the chapel with beautiful turquoise windows was for someone else.
