We like to expose the puppies to children, a few times, while they are with us. We have a rule that to pet the puppies, children must be sitting on the floor - this does a few things:1. While sitting on the ground, a child can’t sit on, trip over or drop a puppy. 2. This is new for the puppies so it allows the puppies to greet them at a pace they are comfortable with, so they aren’t ever scared. And the puppies always approach the children - just like they might a new toy. #westiepuppy #westies
