Raynaud’s Syndrome affects about 4% of the population. Two of the more common causes are stress and cold temperatures. I see this condition often as a hand surgeon. Fortunately, it does not generally require surgery unless the patient starts developing ulcers on their fingertips due to poor blood flow or has significant pain.
