BOILING LAVA LAMP JAR You’ll Need 1 clear jar or tall glass ¾ cup water ½ cup vegetable oil (or baby oil for a slower effect) Food coloring (any bright color) 1 fizzy tablet (Alka-Seltzer or any effervescent tablet) Optional: flashlight or LED light to place under the jar Instructions Add Water: Fill your clear jar about one-third full with water. Add Oil: Slowly pour in the vegetable oil until the jar is nearly full. Wait a minute for the oil and water to separate — you’ll see two clear layers,
