Due to consistent guest feedback that the animatronic’s hair looked more like a plastic soft‑serve cone than flowing undersea locks, Disney replaced the sculpted swirl in the “Under the Sea” scene of The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure (at Disney California Adventure, and carried over to Magic Kingdom) with a more natural-looking, down‑swaying style. • • • #thelitt
