I love the half-figure eight frames on Elphaba's glasses. It's a nice stylistic choice. Also, I saw some complaints that fancy specs like those would not fit her character. It’s funny growing up with Wicked and being a Black theatre kid, Elphaba was the role EVERYONE would want out of the two. I think that the way Black folks are portrayed can be problematic A LOT of the times. But I don’t think this is one of those times.
