2 days ago · Hiking to Hanakāpīʻai Valley/waterfalls and beach is included in a Hāʻena Park Entry Reservation and Day-use Parking Reservation. The hike from Hāʻena SP to Hanakāpīʻai Waterfalls is 8-miles round trip.

Reservations for parking and shuttle may be made up to 30 days in advance. Advance reservations are now required for all vehicles, walk-in entry, and shuttle riders visiting Hāʻena State Park, as well as for day hikers accessing the Kalalau Trail. Plan your trip accordingly.

Jul 21, 2020 · Entrance to Haena State Park (which includes the Kalalau Trail, Hanakapiai Falls, Kee Beach) requires advance paid reservations for the park and its parking lot. If you do not have a paid reservation for that specific day, you will be kindly asked to turn around.

Ke’e Beach now requires a reservation for parking or van service. Although you must now obtain parking or shuttle van transportation reservations, a visit to Ke’e Beach and its surrounding Haena State Park is interesting. During the summer, there is nice swimming and snorkeling.

Parking: As of 2019, please be aware of the new rules for the whole Haena State Park area. If you're going to swim at Ke'e Beach, avoid the reef channel at the west end of the beach. This is where the lagoon flows into the ocean, and the current here …

Parking and entry tickets for Ha’ena State Park and Ke’e beach are available 30 days in advance starting at 12:01 a.m. Hawaii Standard Time. Check availability AS SOON AS tickets become available and keep checking if at first you don’t succeed.

May 23, 2024 · Yes, you really do need a parking permit. The road to Kee is a narrow 2 lane road. Parking on the side is strictly prohibited. It blocks any emergency vehicle trying to get to the beach. Parking along side of the road is one reason why the permits are now required.

Jun 18, 2019 · As of May 1, 2024, the parking fee is $10 per car and the entrance fee is $5 per person. Check the park’s page for any updates to those rates. Reserve a space on the shuttle service, which offers park-and-ride service starting from Waipa near the Hanalei area.

Jan 24, 2024 · Parking: Head to the Ke’e Beach Parking Lot. Don’t forget those reservations, and a shuttle is recommended for a smoother ride. Important Note: Ke’e Beach and Haena State Park don’t offer any shops or dining spots. Pack everything you need – gear, snacks, and water.
