Mar 4, 2011 · The Sonos ARC I know has an optical adapter and I would bet it can learn the remote like the Playbar for people using it with TVs that don't ARC/eARC. I would also guess that it has a simulated Atmos effect for sources that aren't Atmos or if you have an older TV and using optical or your TV is not capable of DD+ for Atmos content.
