Being OAR To be an Augustinian Recollect means to live the Christian life in the style of St. Augustine: having a profound experience of prayer, sharing life in community and working for the Kingdom of God.

The Augustinian Recollect charism is shared by the monasteries of Augustinian Recollect nuns, born at the same time as the Order of Augustinian Recollects and with the same spiritual aspirations as the first Recollects.

What we do The Augustinian Recollects are present in 20 countries. Based on their charism in the experience of prayer, community life and the mission entrusted by the Church, the Augustinian Recollects carry out pastoral work in missions, parishes, educational centers and social projects.
