red dead is a phrase and or method of determining if a gun has the safety on or off. if the gun is "dead" it means the safety is on. if it's "red" means the safety is off. this is due to the fact that a lot of handguns use a red indicator to show that the safety is off.

I don't know about #1 but it the case can certainly be made for it. I would put games like GTA V, Zelda Ocarina of Time (and Wind Waker), Red Dead Redemption 1, Bioshock and Uncharted 2 in the Top 10 with it. I think The Witcher 3 is a serious contender for #1 as well. I am at the end of RDR2 and I must say, it has been quite an experience.

Part 2 may be a prequel, but there’s a reason why part 2 is called Red Dead Redemption 2 and not called Red Dead Redemption The Beginnings or whatever subtitle they could have tacked on to it. Mechanically you’re not going to like going from a very slow paced game with complex controls to a very fast paced game with basic rules of gameplay.

Baldur's Gate 3. While ToTK is also fun and maybe even more suitable for a quick session, but the late game is tedious and starts to feel like a chore. Red Dead 2 is a game about realism, so everything is true to life, but also the pace is a lot slower than the other games. Red dead redemption 2 hands down.
