Someone had mentioned that if Asha was groomed by a member of their social circle that this person would likely still be around the family.

I just watched Cayleigh Elise's video on Asha Degree's dissapearance, and now I'm really curious to know what people think happened to her. Basically, Asha was a 9 year old girl from rural North Carolina that went missing on Valentine's day in 2000.

Asha Jaquila Degree went missing from Shelby, North Carolina on 14th February 2000. it is thought that she packed her bookbag and, for reasons unknown, made the long 1.3 mile [2.1 km] trek from her home to the Highway 18. She was allegedly spotted by several witnesses, one of whom approached her in their car out of concern.

They lived in a rented two-bedroom duplex at 3404 Oakcrest Drive, located in a quiet residential neighborhood about five miles north of Shelby, North Carolina.

Jan 4, 2022 · Blanton previously worked for the sheriffs department, and ran for sheriff in Cleveland county in 1994. He was defeated by Dan Crawford, who was sheriff when Asha Degree disappeared. (Crawford has since committed suicide and is accused of some sketchy things). In other words, Blanton was connected with law enforcement.

Nov 11, 2022 · Whoever took Asha - or was at the very least responsible for convincing her to leave home - must have a connection to the shirt. An older cousin, the romantic partner or daughter of the perp, or maybe even the perp themselves. Either way, the shirt didn't belong to Asha but was found amongst her things in the bookbag.

Sep 10, 2023 · The Degree’s then went to another aunts house for a meal following church where Ms Jackson (Asha’s grandma) reported Asha was happy with the cologne and candy her grandma gifted her. That makes me wonder if that aunt Iquilla mentioned “coming across the street with her kids” lived with grandma and Asha’s cousins.
