Jun 1, 2020 · This issue isn't like those features. This is a floating window that is literally stuck to one position on the screen and cannot be moved by grabbing and moving with the mouse. Late yesterday afternoon, I tried to move the window again and it moved as expected. It's really weird and random. Anyway, thanks again for your help, Mike

Jul 28, 2020 · To overcome this, you have a couple options: right-click + shift the program icon in the taskbar > select Move. Your mouse cursor will now jump to wherever the program is (somewhere off screen). While holding down the left mouse button, move the mouse around until the program comes into the display.

Oct 7, 2010 · I can resize the window using the arrows, but none appear on the right side and I can't click and drag farther than that point. My desktop background appears normal (takes up whole screen), the bottom taskbar runs the either width and the desktop icons have not changed. My screen resolution is set to the maximum standards.

It appears randomly and does not go away until I restart my Windows. I am on Windows 11 Pro Insider Preview, Build 22494.rs_prerelease.211029-1421.

Sep 24, 2024 · We haven't clicked anywhere on or near the popup when it's on screen. Steps I've tried: Windows defender checked status: has been running ok, last updated last night (9/2224) around 10:20pm. Powered off, shut off network, powered on, Windows defender quick scan: came up clean. No pop-ups while network was off.
