Dec 27, 2007 · I think shields can be set as low as 6cm/s velocity. The Fremen decimated the Sardaukar in combat as the Sardaukar were trained in the "slow blade penetrates the shield" style. I would imagine that a force trained in the "fast blade penetrates the ribcage" style (such as the IG) would have the same amount of trouble.
