Mount Ruapehu (Māori: [ˈɾʉaˌpɛhʉ]; English / ˈ r uː ə ˌ p eɪ h uː /) is an active stratovolcano at the southern end of the Taupō Volcanic Zone and North Island volcanic plateau in New Zealand.
