"Serious offroading" - what does it mean to you?
Jan 11, 2025 · @grimmjeeper nailed it. My Jeep is axle swapped, on 42s, with a roll cage and harnesses. What qualifies for serious to me and to someone who just bought their Rubicon is going to differ.
3W TPE All-Weather Floor Mats; REVIEW - JLwranglerforums.com
May 27, 2024 · Now personally my initial thoughts on them were kind one of them being too nice for someone like me. That is to say they are soft and supple and seemingly a luxurious rubber. I had a previous pair of WeatherTechs in the front and they are a much more hard and sturdy rubber and they've held up pretty good for what I put them through.

Any Grand Cherokee owners? - Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU)
Dec 11, 2024 · I've had a 1997, 2009, and now 2021 GC. All with V8's and the Quadradrive option for off-roading, though the '97 was the only one that saw significant off-roading (added ARB locker, skids, winch, slightly larger tires, etc.) Love the ride and performance, and the gas mileage is greatly improved in the '21 (no idea on the newer models or other engines).
2024/25 Sport vs Rubicon - the delta is shifting
Jan 5, 2025 · I'm not sure you'll pull off a full build including axles for $15k put you'd come close. The other issue going that route is trade-in/resale/insurance value (unless you pay for an extra rider for aftermarket parts) is still based off your base sport.
What fuel do you run? Do you understand why?
Dec 13, 2024 · High performance motors would generally start at 10:1 and go up to 13:1 for street cars. Ironically, when adding a turbo or supercharger to a motor, it ran a lower compression ratio of 7.5:1 to 8.5:1 because you are forcing air into the system and creating higher pressures, so you generally compensated by running lower compression.
3.6 longevity solution - Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU)
Dec 20, 2024 · All the Dodge Charger police cars with the Pentastar and thousands of hours of idling pretty much blow that theory out of the water. The internet amplifies problems. Overall the engine is extremely reliable.
