I am having the same problem when saving from Word of iOS. The problem first appeared after the ios11.0.1 update. It appears to be specific to dropbox, because I can save the same file to OneDrive using the same filename.

When using the file save dialog in iOS Shortcuts (formerly ,Workflows') the Dropbox target option is greyed out. Any idea how to fix that? It did work for me some time ago, but stopped for seemingly no reason. Additional info: Dropbox iOS app is installed and user logged in. Dropbox is enabled as a file location in iOS Files app.

I've recently downloaded Dropbox to my new Mac which was successful. I can access DB by clicking on the icon on the top bar. I can then open up the dropbox folder and access all my files etc. However when I want to save something to dropbox, I can't seem to find it anywhere.

i would like to cast my vote as well. users definitely need the ability to see a file in multiple locations. This could be accomplished with a file "Shortcut" option or alternatively by allowing "tags" to add another layer of structure and organization to filing items.

If i copy, i can normally past into dropbox folder, i can even replace to the older file. Spent a few hours working around trying to see if there was any permissions related to it , but nothing...

A separate copy of the file with only your edits, then yes, you'll have to download and re-upload it to the shared folder. Only one file with everyone's edits, those should be automatically applied, so you shouldn't have to download and re-upload the file. Let me know what you find or if you have any other questions!

If you select the sync online option only you save the local hard drive space. This may depend upon your account. Not sure if it works on the free version. It is confusing to set this. I'm on a Mac and can only do it if I'm running the app locally. Right click on a file or folder and hover over the sync to show this option.

Open the Dropbox app, go to Files tab, and browse the video file. Click the options menu (...) on top right, and select Export. Then select Save Video, and it will save the video file to your camera roll. You have to do it for each video file. Later you may organize them in albums/folders.
