Feb 21, 2013 · The gen 2.5 mini glocks and the gen 3 mini glocks look the same. The exception is the early ones (2.5) have smooth finish in between the finger grooves. The 2.5 gen 26,27,and 33 are all like this.

Nov 9, 2023 · I’ve got the whole set of gen 5 40’s. The heavier slide does reduce recoil on the 27, but because it’s shorter thus less added weight from the thicker slide, not as much as the gen 5 23 vs and definitely not as much as the 22. While I do like the gen 5 27 over the regular 27, if you hate the prior versions you likely won’t love the gen 5.

Jan 3, 2018 · Thanks for the information. I did find a tlr6 for the 27 and it fits nice. Light is good. Didn't really need the laser. Copy Gen 2 Glock 23. It was bought back in the 1994-1998 timeframe. I will probably use this as a home defense gun. I have a nice Felix 35 tactical flashlight but was looking to mount a tlr1 HQL on the 23. Will keep researching.

Feb 27, 2023 · The 27 is more versatile then the 26. I have both, but use the 27 more. The 26 is 9mm only. With extra barrels the 27 is .40, .357sig and 9mm. Bonus if it’s the old frying pan finish.I bought a Leo trade in about 10 years ago for $275.

Feb 18, 2015 · There is no such thing as a gen 1 27 gen 2.5 was the first appearance of the Glock 27 Gen 2.5 had the finger grips but they were not textured Sometimes I wrestle with my demons, sometimes we just snuggle.

Oct 15, 2015 · Today I got a G27 for a BUG and it has a trigger bar marked 3600-1. I put a smooth trigger in it, but the brand new smooth trigger I had in my parts box has really bad problems with flaking. So the trigger was stupid-gritty. So I put the serrated trigger back in. Per usual, put a Ghost 5lb Patrol connector in, as with all of my Glocks.

May 12, 2020 · Three of those parts (items 3, 5, and 6) can function in both Gen3 and Gen4 pistols, leaving only three parts (items 1, 2, and 4) that are absolutely generation specific. IMHO, the Gen4 Glock is a superior product to earlier generations. However my Glock EDC for 24 years has been a Gen2.5 G27, using since 2012 a G33 barrel.

Aug 8, 2019 · Over the years, I started with (my 1st Glock) a "Gen 2.5" G27, probably back in ~1995. After selling it, I later bought a Gen3 version. As I recall, as this was some time ago, I did have some intermittent failures to feed using G22 mags.
