Jan 12, 2024 · What is the "optimum" speaker setup for PC gaming? Is it 2.1, 5.1, 7.1, etc.? Basically, do modern PC games support multichannel setups like 5.1 or 7.1? What about a full-blown Atmos setup? How many PC games support Atmos?

Dec 27, 2004 · Having used the 630 with my gaming laptop on numerous occasions, it gets the job done with no crosstalk, even when others are in the same room I'm in. IMO it compares quite well against it's "relatives" the PC 600/660/6XX line, and the ability to increase/decrease bass is a nice touch for those bored with the neutral signature of the 6 line.

Since having our baby my gaming has become much more casual (at least for now) so I picked up a ps5 and put it in the living room and it has been a life changer as opposed to not gaming at all. And since I have picked up a few wfh days, i don't have to sit at the same pc for work and gaming.

Dec 7, 2008 · If you work and play games at your PC for ~ 4-8hrs a day in a recliner you are going to have some issues mentioned in this thread. An ergonomic chair will help. This is all pretty much common knowledge and I am surprised by some of the responses in here.

Jun 26, 2021 · I was playing around with some old games trying to install them on my PC and ran into an issue with those using Installshield. Apparently Installshield 5 and older use a launcher program to extract the setup contents and then start the install process in earnest.

Jan 29, 2018 · That's not a new game, it's like 6 year old, on a custom indie engine written from scratch - it's not a good game to gauge pc performance, as it behaves wildly differently on different systems. It's possible to have a rig that gets 120+ fps in Crysis3 / BF1 etc get only 30-60 unstable fluctuating fps in PoE.

Jun 13, 2002 · On the work side, it's set to 15/50 brightness and 30/50 on the gaming PC. I've got a 4 year warranty from Best Buy - I'm probably going to have to return this Samsung and either get the HP Omen or the Asus UCDM.

Jan 30, 2007 · When I initially setup my PC audio a few years ago (for movies, gaming and normal work), the only way to get digital sound was via HDMI to my receiver/amplifier which then connected to my 5.1 speakers. And for this to work, you needed to designate your receiver as a fake extended 2nd monitor.
