Another is using the same formula with 2 Paladin, 10 Wild Magic Sorc. Trying that now with some fun results. Get all the gith psionic enhancing gear with all of these builds. And tadpoles, too. I just like becoming the otherworldly alien and asserting the mind power like in the old sci fi movies.

Sep 24, 2023 · I’ve found Warlock/Bard to be very fun. Specifically a Lore Bard. Lots of magic at my disposal, a diverse enough skill set that there’s always something worthwhile to do each turn, high charisma so makes a good face character, and performing outside combat can be fun and is a good way to distract NPCs. Just all around very useful.

I’m currently trying to make one of my favorite neverwinter nights builds work for bg3 , the strength based ranger. Plan to use dueling weapon style with sword and board up until level 8. Then at level 8 gonna get get great weapon mastery and respec into defense, use my pet and teammates to generate advantage and hit things hard.

Oct 30, 2023 · Yes, it is a fun dip for archer classes imo, melee lose the spores too quickly but archers get to stay back. It procs on elemental arrow explosions and each bounce of many targets, sneak attack reaction, targets hit by hail of thorns aoe, dread ambusher shot. Fighter also a fun option, and each shot of sword bard flourish also gets a spore rider

I had alot of fun with: War Cleric 1 + Wizard 1 + Swords Bard 1-8 + White Draconic Sorcerer 2. Then at Lv12 I respec'd to take away the War Cleric Lv for 3rd Lv of White Draconic Sorcerer. Stat-stick items help throughout the game to make the build fun all the way through [imo]. Most notably: Crown of Int early act 1 & gloves of dex in early act 2.
