Atlanta's drug problem is not at the level of "The Wire".....Yet. Baltimore's drug problem is still more aggressive. But enough for the A&E channel to do a report about heroin and opioids in North Atlanta for two weeks. From the city proper all the way up to Marietta. Overall, I would highly recommend giving Atlanta a try because you can handle it.

Sep 7, 2023 · North of the metro Atlanta area is north Georgia. Then there's Metro Atlanta, with east and west Georgia on either side. Central Georgia from just below Griffin to just below Perry, or maybe a little further down. Everything below that is South, except for but the coastal areas are distinguished from the rest of southern Georgia.

Jul 17, 2010 · The Atlanta Botanical Garden is nice (be sure to check out the mini rainforest in the Fuqua Conservatory) and if you're with kids, the Children's Garden is cute. Fat Matt's Rib Shack is still an awesome place to visit and eat. Decatur is a great place to walk around, and there are many good restaurants a block or two away from the square downtown.

May 19, 2012 · The summers are brutal -expect temperatures in the upper 90s and low 100s for months straight. What makes it worse is the humidity. People in Georgia don't get me, but I just don't think it should touch 80 degrees in February - there's still usually still snow on the ground back home then.

Jun 24, 2020 · I’m not sure if it’s different in the suburbs, but all of Atlanta uses the same actual gas provider, Atlanta Gas Light. All of the other companies like SCANA, Gas South, etc... are just front ends for AGL. AGL provides the actual utility, and the other companies like Gas South are in charge of billing and stuff.
