Marcus Louis Freeman (born January 10, 1986) is an American football coach and former linebacker who is the head coach of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He previously served as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Notre Dame in 2021.

Led Notre Dame to a 9-4 mark in 2022, capped with win over #19 South Carolina in the Gator Bowl. In his first season at the helm of the program in 2022, the Irish notched wins over four ranked teams, including a win over fifth-ranked Clemson.
