Nov 9, 2024 · The 43rd annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade took over Harbor Drive in downtown San Diego on Sunday, January 19, 2025. One of the largest celebrations of its kind in the United States in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the parade is coordinated by the Zeta Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Located on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way in the Broadway Heights neighborhood of the City of San Diego, the Promenade opened to the public on February 23 rd, 2019 to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King as well as provide a cultural gathering area for educational and community activities.
