And yes, I am using iCloud to sync my images between devices. iCloud is keeping the original images transparent however, I’m wondering if there’s a way to always automatically have the original image saved to my gallery?

I found several links online that make recommendations on what to try, below is one for the iPhone. I haven't been able to find information on how to remove this from the iPad. My operating system is iOS 13.3. Does this give you more information.

(Sometimes the transparent image saves properly, but then the image becomes low res with a filled background a few minutes later) I’ve tinkered with my iPad settings and drawing app settings, nothing has resolved the problem.

Jul 27, 2017 · I don't exactly know what went wrong or how, since images that previously displayed a transparent background suddenly don't anymore. I even exported them to my computer, to iCloud Drive, then back to the Photos app to check if they were still PNG files and didn't somehow convert themselves to JPEG, but they still were.

Sep 30, 2021 · That way whenever you put a transparent PNG in the Apple Photo App, it automatically places the PNG into the Amazon Photo App (which won't unconvert the transparent PNG). This allows you to create a file for png's within your Files App, then Save the transparent PNG into that file.
