Aug 28, 2013 · I have the Hoka Stinson Tarmac and been having problems with rolling ankles on trails. It’s happening too frequently. Can’t really avoid it no matter how careful I am on planting my feet. Anyone know of a way to deal with this? Replace the fast ties with standard laces? Remove my orthotics? Buy mafates or the Stinson trail when running trails? thanks.

You don’t want your brand to be caught between lifestyle and serious sport.

Jan 3, 2024 · The Hoka slides are great and easy to get into. I just bought a pair of the Oofos this fall at IM Florida and to compare the two slides… the Oofos are softer than the Hokas. Very comfortable and I prefer them to the Hoka slides. Not sure about the arch but wearing Hokas as my walk around shoes and slides in the house really solved my PF.

Mar 12, 2017 · The new Clifton’s (2s and 3s) seem to have a narrower toebox compared to the originals. I switched to the Hoka Claytons and they fit my wide feet much better. And as a bonus they are lighter than the Clifton’s. +1. Claytons are much more roomy. Of note: I also went down a half-size in the Clayton versus my usual size in Kinvaras.
