The Guantanamo Bay detention camp, [1] also known as GTMO (/ ˈɡɪtmoʊ / GIT-moh), GITMO (/ ˈɡɪtmoʊ / GIT-moh), or simply Guantanamo Bay, is a United States military prison within Naval Station Guantanamo Bay (NSGB), on the coast of Guantánamo Bay, Cuba.
