Jun 4, 2020 · The gift card you have can only be redeemed with Premium Individual. If you're on Premium Duo, the only way to redeem it is for the manager of the Premium Duo plan to downgrade to Premium Individual, redeem the gift card on their account, and then upgrade to Premium Duo again.

Jan 10, 2024 · I learned from Spotify Support today that as long as you have an upcoming billing date, you cannot apply a gift card to your account. This basically affects anyone who is paying for a Premium Individual plan, since the gift cards are only good for Premium Individual.
