Jan 17, 2019 · Each time I save my (CMYK) Ai file as a High Quality print PDF and then preview it in Acrobat DC, I'm seeing this red line surround my artwork. I'm not the most savvy person with Acrobat, so I don't know if this is just something that needs to be turned off or not.

I used 'Save a copy' in Illustrator to export *.ai as PDF files, only to find the color changed unexpectedly. Original color is CMYK(0,0,0,95) but it has a red hue when viewed in Acrobat. I have read this question: CMYK colours wrong on export in Illustrator.

Aug 28, 2013 · When I opened illustrator file in Acrobat - the color I used was still changed. Realized that in one of my gradations I was using a spot color and that was what was changing when saved as PDF. I changed it to CMYK and all better.

I tried to print the poster as well and they turn out way to dull and dark. What's the problem here? No one else in my class seems to have this problem. Nov 10, 2016 · But I would suggest you to create a RGB file in illustrator, copy your logo and modify the red (you may use Pantone library for standard reference pantone color finder), after that use the RGB source (with the red you are happy) export to PNG. Keep the CMYK file for other purpose such as printing.

So after the file imported there were red boxes shown all over the document now what is the cause and how to remove it, please help. Looks like a missing font (see: Type > Resolve Missing Fonts) Make sure that the font in Word is also available for other applications.

Jul 10, 2017 · When you save as PDF via Illustrator it will use whatever options you have chosen in the save dialog (check the Output tab, Color Conversion option). By default Illustrator will not convert when saving as PDF, so if created as RGB then will save as RGB, otherwise CMYK.
