And while the stories aren't as great as Gunsmoke or Have Gun, they aren't as bad as Laramie; they are solid! I'm happy with getting the complete series box set and look forward to going through 400 plus more episodes

Seasons 17 - 20 (volumes 5 - 8) fared better in that they went back to complete seasons. Once loaded the user is given the option of English or German.

Apr 4, 2008 · They won't be adding anything new for the complete set at this stage in the DVD game. They didn't for the Rawhide and Gunsmoke complete sets. I have the Rawhide complete set and agree its a hassle getting a disc out of the cheap packaging each time. Gunsmoke and Bonanza I have the individual releases and they were well worth it.

Jan 13, 2007 · Of course, purists might gripe that they want all their Gunsmoke episode ducks-in-a-row. And, yes, S2 Vol 2 in a hurry would be very sweet. Unfortunately, one Gunsmoke season a year (at this rate) will mean DVD's will be obsolete in 19 years...long before the series is complete...on home video.
