Go-Ahead London is the largest bus company in London, providing nearly a quarter of the capital's buses.

Go-Ahead is one of the UK’s leading public transport providers enabling more than a billion journeys each year on our bus and rail services. Go-Ahead’s rail operation is the busiest in the UK, responsible for around 25% of all train passenger journeys.

Apr 21, 2022 · The current logo has replaced the tick with a 'holding circle' around METRO. When MetroBus was sold to the Go-Ahead group, the London division was incorporated into Go-Ahead London and the Sussex and Surrey division was managed by Brighton & Hove.

Metrobus is a bus operator with routes in South London, and parts of Surrey, Kent & Sussex. Metrobus operates its London Buses as a Go-Ahead London Subsidiary company and remains an independent company for its commercial services.

With these purchases, Go-Ahead London surpassed Arriva London to become the largest operator of buses in London, running around 16% of London bus services. A corporate image for Go-Ahead London bus routes started to appear in August 2008, when a new Go-Ahead London logo was unveiled.

Metrobus previously operated many routes under contract to Transport for London in south and south-east London, but following a restructure, on 1 April 2014 these were transferred to Go-Ahead London under London General.
