The Earth is alive with the creative expression of the life forces of the universe. My calling as an artist has been to translate this expression into my work. My paintings incorporate real life places that I have felt a connection to, and most are referenced from my own travels and time spent being in these landscapes.

Jessica Johnson is a feisty, fearless creative thinker and self-taught poet, writer, and artist. Jessica was raised in Santa Cruz County and has lived in the area for most of her life. Her work is informed by her experience as a woman, motherless mother, seeker, and teacher.

Passionate about the outdoors since her earliest backpacking trip at 3 years old, Jessica works to communicate the inspiring beauty of the landscapes that surround her home and permeate her adventures.
