Sep 12, 2021 · Thinking about buying a refrigerator from Menard's, and couldn't find any reviews. Seems like this brand Criterion is their in store brand. Any impressions would be appreciated. My old fridge lasted 20 years and hope to get the same. Also curious about the return policy.

Aug 13, 2022 · After talking with a service shop they recommended unplugging it log enough for any ice built up in between the freezer and fridge to melt. The fridge gets cold air from the freezer and it can freeze up causing no cold air to get to the fridge. I unplugged for a few days and it’s been working ever since. Like 3 weeks now.

Nov 10, 2021 · Like everything not in the Whirlpools stable, the Criterion is made in china where stuff is made to sell and with no concern about the end user. With no expectations of quality, we bought the extended warranty. That was four years ago and surprisingly, the Criterion fridge is still working fine. We have had three LG microwaves, same model number.

The compact refrigerators are superior to the full size because they’re from different manufacturers (Criterion us 3, Plastic Development Group, Midea and Winadaewoo) I don’t know exactly which manufactures which but the mini fridges have a slightly different font in the name as well as a superior seal.

Nov 12, 2022 · Criterion is a brand sold by Menards. But its like the other brands like Crosley, they dont make their own products, they rebrand from another brand. I can tell you with the long serial number, its either Samsung, LG, or Daewoo. It looks like a Samsung build, but the parts come up as Daewoo-like numbers. My money is on Daewoo.

Mar 25, 2022 · I was at Menards looking at the Criterion Freezer and happened to stop by a local sears 10 minutes later the Kenmore they had on the floor was an absolute identical model of the Menards Criterion brand.

Dec 30, 2021 · Im highly confident that the relay is the issue—it rattled when I shook it, and the fridge was doing the telltale “clicking every 3-5 minutes” + not cooling, but the light inside the fridge was still on meaning that the unit was still getting power. The current relay has 2 pins.
