Nov 21, 2022 · Just chalking it up to “Canelo beat old Cotto” doesn’t tell the story of this fight in the specific time period that it was. It doesn’t give Canelo OR Cotto the respect they deserved. Cotto would’ve been favored against any 154lb and any 160lb aside from GGG at the time of this fight. Aside from all that.. Great fight to watch.

Anywho, Kellerman exaggerated by saying 180. Canelo would probably range in the 170-175, which again begs the question of his necessity to create a catch weight.
