Nov 27, 2024 · Little heat from passenger side, found the hvac diagnostic button combo online, hold the auto and air circulate button during ignition on, it gave a code 46 on the air conditioner led panel, looked up the code. Ordered the part and will install tomorrow.

Jan 22, 2024 · When I turn my car on the issue is obvious - no HVAC controls for 45-60 seconds. After the delay the floor vent icon is displayed. Powering on temps are set to 72 degrees and has basic functions - air flows out of all the other vents no matter the setting, and never air out of the center 2 face vents - sides are fine.

Nov 26, 2024 · The most likely cause of not hot air out of the HVAC is one of the diverter doors not functioning. Remove trim around it, like the glove box, driver's IP lower, etc. and operate each of the heater and cooling controls with the engine on and confirm the actuators operate, and when they do they actually move the doors they're attached to.

I took my Avalon to this general auto shop. They think the climate computer died and wanted to charge me $260 for inspection. I did not let them do it and took the car back.

Take off both of the windshield wiper arms. 3. Now we are going to take off the air vent molding right at the bottom of the windshield.

I had the air condition replaced at the Toyota dealer and when I got the car back the power steering pump was whining. I took it back to them and explain it the pump is working fine before I had the air conditioner replaced.

Oct 28, 2014 · Not sure why it happened after about 10 months of ownership since she ran the A/C using fresh air only & turned off the A/C 10 minutes from home with fresh air on high. Nevertheless I had read on another auto blog that a solution of vinegar & water sprayed into the intake duct of the HVAC system would eliminate the mold & the odor on most cars.
