Is it Possible to connect a PC Gaming Platform to the iMac to use it just as a Screen for the PC? No. Target Display Mode went away when the first 27" 5K Retina iMac came out in Late 2014. That's the one you have.

Mar 21, 2022 · Just got the new Studio Display. 90% will be using with my Mac. Was hoping to also use it with my gaming PC. The PC has a displayport cable. I purchased a displayport to USB-C adaptor and plugged it into the Thunderbolt slot. It doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Nov 13, 2023 · If you want to invest money into a gaming computer, then you should invest in a dedicated Windows gaming PC instead, or a gaming console like XBox, Playstation, or Steam Deck. Even then, you will still need to do research to make sure the gaming PC meets or better yet exceeds the Recommended System Requirements for each of the games.

After resetting my PRAM and SMC several times, my Mac refuses to see the 3.5mm port or the headset. Has anyone else found a way to make the USB C 3.5mm audio adapter work with their 2020 Macbook Pro?

Mar 31, 2024 · A MBAir is far from a gaming PC. I would definitely look at the comments on the Steam product page for the game and also on the Steam game forums to see how well this game may work on a MBAir. If people report issues with a MBPro, then a MBAir will be even worse.
