Sep 30, 2024 · The Kauai Marathon and Half Marathon is one of the most beautiful destination races in the world today. Run on August 31, 2025, this is a great way to combine a unique experience and a get-away that only Kauai can offer.

The Kauai Marathon and Half Marathon begins in Poipu, the world-class resort community at the sunny southern end of the island, with routes sharing the first 11 miles. The courses follow the contour of the scenic coastline, offering magnificent views of the island’s picturesque beaches, rugged volcanic peaks, and tropical rain forests.

The 16th edition of The Kauai Marathon and Half Marathon starts at 6am HST on Sunday, August 31, 2025. While the starting guns goes off at 6am, runners should arrive by 4:45 am to warm up, stretch, and enjoy the pre-race festivities.
