3 days ago · On January 25, 1943, a B-17 Flying Fortress crashed near New Albany, claiming all 12 crew members' lives. The bomber, off course during a routine transfer, exploded in flames, scattering debris across 600 yards. In our latest episode of New Albany History, we remember this tragic event and the sacrifices of those who served during World War II.
