Woodstock Willie's prognostication contradicts that of Punxatawney Phil, who saw his shadow Wednesday morning. The Bill Murray classic movie of 1993 "Groundhog Day" was shot in Woodstock.

UPDATE: At 7:07 a.m., Woodstock Willie 'definitely' did not see his shadow, meaning that an early spring is on the way! It was a similar story in Punxsutawney, where Phil also did not see his shadow!
