Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has condemned a Russian attack on the city center of Sumy, saying that's all one needs "to know about Russia’s ‘desire’ to end this war.”

Local authorities said the barrage of rockets struck apartment buildings and a medical facility in the center of Sumy. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s secret services said they struck again inside Russia, two days after a spectacular Ukrainian drone attack on air bases deep inside the country.

A Russian artillery attack on Ukraine's northeastern city of Sumy on Tuesday killed three people and injured 25, including children, the city council and the health ministry said.
