Aston Villa have agreed a £5m fee to sign defender Axel Disasi on loan from Chelsea. The 26-year-old briefly looked Tottenham bound but he is understood to have preferred a move to the Midlands club. There has been no option to buy included in the deal so any fee to make the move permanent in the summer will have to be negotiated at a later date.

Aston Villa have agreed a deal to sign Chelsea defender Axel Disasi on loan for the rest of the season. The fee for the straight loan is approximately in the same range as a deal with Tottenham Hotspur that was £5million.
