Former Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher is interested in coaching at the college level once again. "I'm 59, in great shape and healthy. I've had success everywhere we've ever been," Fisher said during an appearance on the Trials to Triumph podcast (h/t ESPN's Andrea Adelson).

At a time when Nick Saban hasn't completely ruled out a return to coaching, his former lieutenant-turned-nemesis and fellow West Virginia native is being more candid and direct about his desire to get back in the game.

Texas A&M decided before the conclusion of the 2023 season that it was worth dishing out roughly $77 million in buyout money so someone not named Jimbo Fisher could coach the Aggies' football team. But that doesn't mean Fisher is out of the game.
