The sixth-ranked Trinity University baseball team suffered a 7-3 defeat in its opening game of the NCAA III College World Series against the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

No. 9 Texas Lutheran softball's season came to an end Friday night at the Division-III Women's College World Series, falling to No. 11 Redlands, 2-0.
