A tomato recall due to risk of salmonella contamination has been elevated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to its highest warning level. The FDA marked the tomato recall affecting three states as Class I, meaning there is a risk of “serious adverse health consequences or death,” on May 28.

The FDA updated a recall on tomatoes potentially contaminated by salmonella to the most serious classification. Here’s which products were recalled in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.
