The Phoenix Suns just traded Kevin Durant for a younger, edgier version of Devin Booker; a younger, more unhinged version of Draymond Green; the potential to draft a guy who projects to be what Deandre Ayton was supposed to be; and they’re getting enough second-round picks to fill a second unit with try-hards.

That's not a diss to Durant, the Suns constructed a roster that was incredibly top-heavy around its three stars of Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, leaving very little left over to fill out the rest of the roster with quality role players.

And yet, those efforts resulted in precious few wins for Durant, Booker and Phoenix. After falling well short of the postseason, the Suns parted ways with Durant, sending him to the Rockets in exchange for a pool of players and draft capital, including Jalen Green and Dillon Brooks.
