At Penn State, that takes the form of the White Out game, where the home crowd descends on Pennsylvania's Beaver Stadium dressed in white, creating a wave of white across the stadium that looks especially impressive under the lights for night games.

QB guru Quincy Avery criticized Penn State's Drew Allar and called Oregon's Dante Moore "the best quarterback in college football."

The Ducks are the fifth top-10 opponent to play in a White Out, with PSU holding a 1-3 record in those games, and the win coming in 2016 against No. 2 Ohio State. Penn State head coach James Franklin’s record is 1-1 in those games, with the two aforementioned matchups against Ohio State being the two top-five opponents he faced.

Oregon, meanwhile, retooled after losing several key players to the NFL but hasn't missed a beat. The Ducks are 4-0, outscoring opponents 203-37. Last week, quarterback Dante Moore carved up rival Oregon State for 305 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-7 rout.

Since Drayton arrived at Penn State early this year, he has worked with Singleton on open-field running and how to elude would-be tacklers. According to Drayton and head coach James Franklin, that has resulted in Singleton not playing free and easy.

Penn State and Oregon each have something to prove, but the Nittany Lions will be the program with the most pressure to make a statement this week.
