SIOUX CITY -- A Sioux City Symphony Youth Orchestra (SCSYO) violinist has been selected for one of the nation's most prestigious youth orchestra initiatives.

A public hearing on the proposed fare increase was held June 4 in the Sioux City Transit Conference Room, at 509 Nebraska St.

The fun-filled event helped a local nonprofit serving those with special needs raise money for its growing number of clients.
