Boys Hockey: Northern Lakes’ dream season ends in a 4-0 loss
In the third period, Northfield’s Miles Kennelly made it 3-0 with a goal at 1:44. The Raiders made it 4-0 on an Oliver Benjamin goal. Geiger earned his second assist and his third point. Northern Lakes’ sophomore goalie Sam Suja recorded 19 saves and was replaced by Hunter Moreland for the last 8:30. Moreland tallied three saves.

ST. PAUL — The Northern Lakes Lightning boys hockey team, 19-8-1 overall, was seeded fifth for the Class A state tournament and will play No. 4 East Grand Forks in the Class A state quarterfinals at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
