In addition to the warmth, severe storms will be possible overnight  Saturday night, Sunday night and Monday afternoon and evening. It was a hot and humid Saturday. Highs reached into the low 90s with a heat index hitting 100°.

The NWS Fort Worth TX issued an updated severe thunderstorm warning at 12:50 a.m. on Sunday in effect until 1:15 a.m. The warning is for Collin, Fannin and Hunt counties.

An updated severe thunderstorm warning was issued by the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC on Saturday at 5:49 p.m. in effect until 6:15 p.m. The warning is for Beaufort, Martin and Washington counties.
