“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” is set to return to the airwaves Friday evening on Nexstar Media Group’s 23 ABC affiliate stations and nine other partner stations.

Sinclair Inc. is putting Jimmy Kimmel Live! back on its ABC TV network affiliates starting tonight, ending a standoff with ABC parent company Walt Disney Co.

“Even though we are still being preempted in 60 American cities, on Tuesday, we had our second-highest rated show in almost 23 years on the air,” he said.
