The Tigers look back to form, finally. After an absymal run of play where the team lost 12 of 13 games around the All-Star Break, the team, and its bats, have come alive. Following a huge win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday, the Tigers have picked up a couple of sizeable wins to start off this series with the Diamondbacks.

Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman and leading trade-deadline target Eugenio Suárez exited Monday night's eventual 5-1 loss to the Detroit Tigers after he was struck on the hand by a 95.6 mph pitch. The incident occurred in the ninth inning when a 2-1 fastball got away from reliever Will Vest and hit Suárez's right hand.
